A Big THANK YOU!

The Trustees of the Charity, would like to wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year.

It has been a very tough year for all, but we would like to THANK our COMMUNITY, for contiunuing to support us, with donations and gifts. WE HAVE MANAGED TO LOOK AFTER MANY PEOPLE AT HOME, OR IN OUR LOCAL CARE HOMES, THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS. Our community “really does care” and we will continue to provide that extra care needed. Thank you to Dr Castle and Partners, for providing us with all our ongoing administration and staff support.

Thank you to our ‘local carers’ who help us so many times, when we really are struggling and provide us with outstanding care.

Thank you the the VHC and HACT, who have supported us to keep the Community Bus going, it has been a real challenge. Thank you to all those who have volunteered to drive, when its been so ‘on and off the road’ .Lets hope we can finally make headway this year.

Very special thanks, to those who have left us bequests, or whose families have thought about our fund, giving donations in memory of their loved ones. During the past two years, the community has said ‘goodbye’ to many dear friends, relatives and loved ones. You are in our thoughts every day.

Please keep safe in 2022, keep healthy, keep strong and make sure you follow guidelines. Please protect yourself and those that care for you, by getting your ‘boosters’ or vaccinations as requested by the scientists.

During the COVID-19 pandemic our dear friends Sally Bird and Tania Fitzgerald made colourful and fun masks for our community to use. Together they raised hundreds of pounds for Sole bay Care Fund. Huge thanks to them for their hard work helping to keep us safe.
